Last week was so busy - lots of fun with friends and family. I know I've been neglecting my blogging friends, but promise to get back in the swing and stopping by your blogs to visit and chat soon.
Here's what I've been up to.
Finished "Count Your Blessings":
Finished Lizzie Kate's "Love is Best":
Had a blast making cuffs from up cycled ties:
The cuff bracelet here is a bit difficult to see, as the Swarovski cabochons actually highlight the design. They look rather random in the pictures....the underside is lined with ultra suede.
And another - for my friend who visited us last week. Again, made from an up cycled tie and embellished with Swarovski cabochons, the underside is lined with ultra suede.
I've also been working away on my sweet step-grandson's stocking....and picked up my brushes again! It's been a great, creative week.
Lovely finishes this week! I have that Lizzie Kate "Love is Best..." stitched up but haven't finished it into anything yet.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, Looks like you've had a very productive week! Its great to get some finishes done, isn't it! Your cuff looks lovely, what do you use inside it?
ReplyDeleteBarbara xx
I love the cross-stitch finishes. Those cuffs are really interesting. My husband has some old ties that might be suitable.
ReplyDeleteAnother busy and creative week! Like Pamela I haven't finished Love is best...into anything either. You put me to shame!
ReplyDeleteLove your stitching and Finishes.
ReplyDeleteLove your cuffs they look great. Kim you have so much talent.
You have been way more productive since our time together than I have. I blame you for my lack of ambition though, as I have been marathoning Longmire episodes instead of cleaning or painting. I need to get through season 4 so I can get something done! Your cuffs are awesome!
ReplyDeletebeautiful cross stitch finishes, and the cuffs are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteLovely projects, Kim.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute finish, Kim, and your cuff bracelets are lovely--I always enjoy seeing your varied projects :)
ReplyDeleteYour ornaments look great! And my husband has a ton of ties he doesn't wear anymore I'll have to see if any are as pretty as that blue one you used.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim such beautiful work, well done xx
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy! I have stitched both those designs as Travelling Patterns, they bring back so many memories of the other stitchers.
ReplyDeleteI might start one off next year myself.
Love those cuffs! That's such a great idea. Congrats on your finishes, too! :D
