Thoughts, 18 Hours Later....

I want to thank all of you who took the time to make such uplifting and heartfelt comments on my last post. I've received emails and phone calls from dear friends - all of which I cherish. I was touched by all the people who shared some of what they have gone through - and some still going through - I know I'm not alone. And, more importantly, I hope you all know YOU aren't, either. I'm a note or a phone call away.

My outlook is better and my "New Do" is GREAT!! I love, love it. DH didn't have any idea I was going to get my hair cut and styled yesterday. When I walked through the door he was surprised, but I could tell he approved of the new look. It's not drastic, but it's classic and elegant. I can still pull it back in a ponytail if I want to, or wear it down.

Stocking update: After 18 hours of stitching, here's what I've accomplished:

Almost all of her red robe is completed. I also received the few thread colors I had to order...and now I'm thinking I may need more metallic threads, but I'll make that decision after I've stitched in a bit more color.

  8. I'm so glad you are happier now. It is a hard time of year for folks. Sometimes we have to give up the brave face and know that we do have friends that will be there for us in all times. You have always been a caring, sharing person. Enjoy the blob and watching the progress on your projects. Keep sharing. Hope to see you at EGA soon.
