I finished the next block in Ele's ABC SAL:
I want to thank everyone who have RSVP'd to my birthday party. I'm so very excited about all this - it almost makes my head hurt. I've already stitched 4 RAKs, one is completed and ready to launch next week. Here's a peek:
Someone suggested there be an easy way to look at the 60 RAKs....So...... I've created a page at the top of my blog called "60 RAKs". Once the party goer receives her RAK, I'll post a picture in a blog post, but also on that page so you can keep track of what-went-to-who.
Now - travel plans. My blogging may be more than a bit sporadic over the next three weeks, as I leave for Singapore to hug my daughter, GS and SIL in a few days! I'm more than a little anxious about the long trip, but so looking forward to spending time with them. DH will be here at the farm looking after the dogs and getting a jump start on his garden. In preparation for my travels, I've selected four stitching projects to take with me - all will be RAKs.
Soooooo - here I go - off into the wild blue yonder!
How exciting for you! I'm sure you'll do well. Enjoy your journey.
ReplyDeleteHave a safe and awesome trip Kim.

ReplyDeleteHave a nice trip and enjoy the time with your daughter and grandchild!I am sure there won't be enough time to stitch, apart from the plane of course!I don't know if needles are allowed!AriadnefromGreece!
ReplyDeleteCould you take something crafty on the plane? I think needlework is allowed but I wouldn't take embroidery scissors! Maybe those rounded childproof ones or a thread cutter necklace thingy. Your trip sounds fascinating; are you going to hunt up shops over there? :D
ReplyDeleteOops and I forgot to say I just love the little bird! It looks so squishy! :D
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday. xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little bird! Enjoy your trip. I hope you manage to fit some stitching time on your RAKs between hugging and playing with your family. I'm off on a Hawaiian cruise in a months time, so I need to start thing about what I want to take with me to stitch. Have a safe trip.
ReplyDeleteAdorable little bird and so cool that the provenance of the wool is part of the package!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you did the little flower on the mno block. Mine is not so pretty, but I got tired of trying to make it look good. I took our the stitches multiple times. And Week 6 is here! Yea!
Have a safe, great trip. Very exciting!
Have a wonderful trip, my very dear SSF - Singapore is just gorgeous. Airports and Plane trips are just perfect for getting some stitching done - so enjoy that, too. hugs, Kaye.
