Bow Pillow - Complete!

I finished the bow pillow I've worked on for about two years. I took this project with me when my mother and I flew to Arizona when my aunt (her sister) was so desperately ill. She passed away the day after Mom and I arrived.

After Mom's stroke, the project was always with me, keeping my hands busy in hospitals, waiting rooms and skilled care facilities. After Mom passed, I couldn't look at the canvas, let alone think about finishing it.

I know Mom would be proud of me - it's done! Here's the front:

I wanted a classy, different closure for the back and came up with this dragonfly pin. I really wanted a hummingbird pin, but couldn't find one - Mom loved hummingbirds.

On to my next project!!
