Now, for the freebie - Tricia of The Embroiderer's Story - has posted a free, downloadable pattern for a quick, fun pincushion. It's done in Flame Stitch. I don't have the wonderful threads she has made it with, but I'm sure I can find some that I love already in my stash.

Not 31.....Yet = RAK #31 is boxed up and ready to go.....just didn't get to the post office this morning as planned. Instead, had a surprise visit from two grand babies from Michigan (ages 2 and 3)! What FUN!!! #31 will meet our postman Monday.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Kim, enjoy your visit with the grand babies. I know you will enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteOh Kim! Enjoy your weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI've always been fascinated by miniatures and dreamed of having a lovely Victorian dollhouse - alas, it never happened and now I simply don't have the room. I did 'do' a Santa house years ago, along with a sewing room themed roombox, but had to rehome them. I can see this pretty little pillow as a Christmas ornament too. Oh - and I used to do a lot of bargello (full-sized) back in the day too. Don't have any of those pieces any more either. And surprise visits from grandbabies are definitely supposed to take precedence over mailing things!!
ReplyDeleteGood evening, sweet Kim! Ah, what a joy to find a few quiet moments to pop in and say hello. Thank you for mentioning these blogs and I will certianly check them out after I leave this comment.
