Well, here is my first attempt at making these fun tags. I learned a lot (like - don't make too many at a time. When you take them out of the oven you have to be QUICK to press them flat or they are curved for life…..or they break - COUGH!).
I see all sorts of possibilities for other designs in the future - WOW! What FUN!!!!!
Here is the next block from Jenny's Quilt Stitch Along:
And - last but not least - more from my tea collection:
A beautiful "tea for one" with Celtic designs (I see it was a bit crooked when I snapped the photo). It was a gift from my mother. The top of the lid says "May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow."
And a Royal Albert tea pot with the "Old Country Roses" design. Peeking out behind the pot is a crystal biscuit jar.
Until then - Keep yourself surrounded by stitches ~ Cheers ~
Love your tags. I will have to check that out.

ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteLoving your tags! Little tip for you, if you pop them back in the oven they will soften again and then you have chance to flatten them again.
Good for you. What fun. We haven't made shrinky dinks in years. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun with the tags! Love your quilt square too. And the teapots -- fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYour tags look fun!
ReplyDeleteI love your teapots! I also collect teapots and pitchers, too--the majolica type. I have flowers, fruits, vegetables, birds, as well as "regular" teapots and pitchers! What fun!!!
Beautiful tea pots! For as much as I love tea, I should have a collection of those! Uh-oh ... me thinks I'm being easily influenced yet again : )
