Spring Bunny Love

I had this lovely design in the "to do" pile.  Spring has sprung (FINALLY!), so was inspired to get it out and stitch it up.  It's a freebie from Snowflower Diaries called "Spring Bunny Love".  Isn't it darling?!

The back is a lovely peachy moire.  I ruched the ribbon (a first for me ;)) - then stitched it to the ornament. There are alternating white and peach pearls to enhance the ruching.

Now off to work on a Christmas stocking!

I Love Strawberries!

I've always loved strawberries.  When I was small, Mom, Dad and I went on a vacation to Florida.  I baffled them both by eating only ham sandwiches and strawberry shortcake from Illinois to Florida and back.

I picked up this little cutie from Sweetheart Tree a couple of years ago and it's finally finished.  It measures 3x2.5 inches, 4.5x4 inches framed.
When I look at it, it reminds me how sweet strawberries taste and fills me with memories of laughter and love.

Another Project Finished and Chart to Share

Just finished framing LHN's "Goodwill" proverb in a frame courtesy of DH.

If anyone would like this chart, I'd be happy to send to you.  There should be enough threads to complete another one.  Just place a comment to this post.  I will contact the lucky person tomorrow evening and send out Wednesday.

Project Finished!

DH made some frames for me.  Here is the first one all framed and ready to be admired.  It's a Little House Needleworks pattern from their Proverbs collection.

Three More OPAM Finishes!!

Here are three more finishes I did today -

"A Dog's Love…." is a cross stitch design by Dimensions.
The two proverbs are from Little House Needleworks.

I framed "A Dog's Love" myself with a frame I had in my stash in my studio.  The proverbs have cording sewn around the outside and can be hung or placed on a stand.  Each proverb ornament has a small charm sewn on the back into the cording that says "Made with Love".

I guess I really needed some incentive to finish off the stack I have - and OPAM is working (so far) - HA!
